Perhaps the situation sounds familiar to you: There is a digital decoder on the workbench in front of you and you would like to test whether the decoder works properly before the complicated installation in the locomotive. But how do you test?
The professional test bench will help you: The professional test bench is simply connected to your digital center or the LokProgrammer. It allows you to test every decoder without various influencing factors of a locomotive.

Equipment

To make this as easy as possible for you, the professional test bench has valuable features. All common interface sockets for the “small track gauges” are available for connecting the decoder:
In addition to a 6-pin interface according to NEM 651 and an 8-pin interface according to NEM 652, there is also a 21MTC interface according to NEM660, a PluX22 -Socket and the Next18 interface available: No matter which decoder you have: Simply plug in the decoder - done!
Locomotives without an interface plug can be contacted with individual cable terminals.
A high-quality bell armature motor with a flywheel is used in conjunction with directional LEDs Checking the motor output: It's so easy to check the slow driving characteristics and the synchronization of the decoder. An LED monitor informs you about the functions of the front and rear light outputs as well as the function outputs AUX1 to AUX6.
We have installed a 20 mm loudspeaker for testing LokSound decoders. You can choose whether the built-in loudspeaker should be switched off or have 100 ohms or 16 ohms - the test stand is perfect for every generation of ESU decoders!
Two SUSI plugs enable the direct testing of optional SUSI modules as well Forwarding to another board.
The connection to the digital center or the LokProgrammer is made either conveniently with the help of a removable, two-pin terminal block (same system as on the LokProgrammer or the ECoS) or with the help of two solder connections.

Expansion

With the help of a newly introduced expansion socket, you can add the professional test bench expansion board to your professional test bench if necessary: You can easily connect our large-scale railway decoders to this and test them. With all of these equipment components, your professional test bench will soon become an indispensable helper in your workshop!
