Technical details
1 x StayAlive controller (10x7.3x2mm) for decoders without or with limited provisions for direct energy storage connection.Using STACO1, 2 or 3 miniature gold caps (solder bridges) can be connected via the two free wires.
For connecting (via wires) to the decoder pads or pins "Decoder-Plus / According to Plus" and "Decoder MASS".
The stay-alive controllers may only be operated with a maximum of 18 V rail voltage!
2 (or 3 with STACO1) mini gold caps are connected via wires connected to the StayAlive controller; This ensures that all parts (decoder, STACO, Goldcaps) are accommodated in a spatially distributed manner - in contrast to a massive "power pack". The circuit board transforms the voltage of the gold caps (in total 5.2 V or 8.1 V - depending on whether 2 or 3 gold caps; when fully charged, decreasing to approx. 2 V over time) to 10 V, which is used for the replacement supply of the decoder Wheel-rail contact interruptions are sufficient (for drive and sound without loss of volume) and do not cause any disruptions, e.g. in service mode.
