Technical details

Variant of the MS581N18, without additional internal energy storage (1 large tantalum), with 2 wires for connecting two external 0.3F/2.7V gold caps (4x12mm, included)
Note: Wired decoders (also ...R and ...F types) are each supplied with an electrolytic capacitor from 680 to 1000μF free of charge. This is used to test the energy storage connection; at this capacity the effect is already noticeable. For real use, much larger capacities, e.g. GoldCaps, are recommended.

The decoder is delivered with the sound collection ZSP01006 with steam locomotive sounds for DB BR50 / BR78 / BR03.10 and diesel locomotive sounds for BR211
