Technical details
Next18 sound decoder - 24.9 x 10 x 4 mm - audio 3 W - 0.8 A - 6+1 FA 6 amplified outputs (4 on the plug + 2 soldering pads) +1 logic level FA (solder pad) Expansion of the internal 5V energy storage via solder pads with external 6.3V tantalums or mini gold caps (max. 0.5F), MS581 only available with Next18 interfaceNote: Wired decoders ( also ...R and ...F types) each includes an electrolytic capacitor from 680 to 1000μF free of charge. This is used to test the energy storage connection; at this capacity the effect is already noticeable. For real use, much larger capacities, e.g. GoldCaps, are recommended.
The decoder is delivered with the sound collection ZSP01006 with steam locomotive sounds for DB BR50 / BR78 / BR03.10 and diesel locomotive sounds for BR211
