Novelty 2022: Printed variant of the BR 103 of the DB in era IV in the Lufthansa design. The model series 103 in size G is characterized by replicating all of the external appearance features of its larger model. The finely painted and printed model impresses with its maximum reliability, robustness, ball-bearing, chrome-plated wheel sets, direction-dependent light changes, driver's cab lighting and driver's cab equipment with a locomotive driver. Also worth highlighting are the many individually applied details such as handlebars and the distinctive windshield wipers. The BR 103 from PIKO also has high pulling power and excellent driving characteristics. Engine room lighting can be easily retrofitted. With the built-in PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 G, analog sound is also possible.

Up to 4 lighting kits (#36017) can be installed in the locomotive (front driver's cab, rear driver's cab and 2x engine room) and is suitable for retrofitting one Pantograph drive (#36145) prepared.
