PIKO 51814 - Sound-E-Lok E10 1270 DB III AC version, including PIKO sound decoder
New in 2022: Variant of the BR 110.3 as the BR E 10 of the DB in Era III. The model represents a classic Rheingold locomotive as delivered from 1963. The main feature of the E10.12 was the design of the front of the locomotive without step grates and handrails, which, together with the apron and buffer paneling, gave the locomotive a very sleek look. The E 10 model impresses with its precise execution of the variant with front apron, buffer paneling and raised DB logo. The integrated driver's cab lighting and the front and tail lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The model, which has a die-cast zinc frame, has a five-pole motor with precisely balanced flywheels for excellent driving characteristics and two traction tires for high tractive forces, which are arranged diagonally on the inner axles of both bogies. The sound variant already has an mfx®-capable SoundDecoder at the factory.
