BRAWA 45715 - H0 baggage car F4 SBB
Role model information
Although the SBB had taken over large numbers of the American four-axle vehicles and the cars had proven themselves in operation, a decision was made to purchase new cars in favor of a three-axle version. After some time, the long car body showed severe twisting and deformation. The reason was the very poor running properties of the primitive, cradle-springless bogies. Nevertheless, some remained in operation until 1941. As late as 1930, trains that were made up of four-axle trains were still running between Winterthur and Wil.
