BRAWA 43981 - H0 TRAXX electric locomotive BR 146 DB AG (reissue)
Role model information
New, stricter safety requirements forced Bombardier to increase the crash safety of the TRAXX 1 locomotive body. The TRAXX 2, which have been built since 2005, therefore have a vertical front section and modified maneuvering steps on the front. Many components inside the vehicle have also been simplified and standardized in order to be able to respond more flexibly to customer requests while at the same time reducing our own production costs. In order to be able to distinguish them by their company number, the locomotives at DB AG are designated with the sub-series 185.2 and 146.2 to 146.5. Bombardier has now produced over 1,500 locomotives of the successful TRAXX family worldwide.

For the TRAXX diesel and electric locomotives in H0 gauge, digital decoders are used that were developed by BRAWA in collaboration with Doehler & Haass:
Can be used and programmed in all common digital systems (DCC, Motorola, SX1 and SX2)
RailCom® compatible
Improved motor and load control for perfect running characteristics
Noise-free 16-bit sound with up to 8 independent channels thanks to the latest sound technology and excellent sound properties, e.g. B. Signal horn with prototypical reverb
Variant-specific sound: diesel and electric locomotive, or passenger or freight train locomotive
Easy to program
Optimized lighting control for driving and shunting operations
Extensive lighting functions: high beam , low beam, shunting light, driver's compartment lighting, country-specific lighting functions Germany / Switzerland (can also be controlled analogously!)
Illuminated train destination display in true-to-original font size and color (for passenger train models)
Simple decoder installation without extensive reprogramming
AC version with enclosed locomotive card for recognizing the function symbols in Mfx® operation
The development and manufacture of the technical components takes place entirely in Germany
