Prototype information

Although the vehicle only existed as a prototype and had not yet been largely tested, DB Schenker chose the Gravita® 10BB in its 2007 tender for 130 locomotives. The DB machines ordered have now been fully produced and delivered; they are in use nationwide under the series designation BR 261.
