BRAWA 2231 - H0 train termination set
Prototype information
From the early days of the railway until today, the end of a train must be marked by appropriate end signals. In principle, no train is allowed to run without a final signal. Until 1935, the daily signal consisted of two square red-and-white panels, the so-called upper carriage disks, and a round end disk on the buffer beam. At night the windows had to be replaced with red lanterns. Since freight trains on the state railways ran almost exclusively during the day, the unlit windows were usually found on them.
