PIKO 50615 - BR 78 DRG II sound steam locomotive, including PIKO sound decoder and steam generator
New for 2022 The model of the DRG BR 78 from Era II impresses with its great wealth of detail. Almost all cables were free-standing and the individual elements, such as the driver's cab, water tanks and smoke chamber, are decorated with the finest replicas of the rivet heads. The sound variant comes with a latest generation PSD XP S SoundDecoder and an integrated smoke generator. With this locomotive, PIKO has created a model of the BR 78 in its original appearance, just as the locomotive came from the factory in Kassel in 1923. What is striking is the small coal box without top boards, the missing deflectors on the rear wall of the driver's cab, the smoke chamber door with a large locking wheel and the two large lamps on the buffer beam. The labeling also corresponds faithfully to the operating condition upon delivery.
