Technical details

With the help of a double-sided insulated track section and an MX7, the reversing loop (or the bridge of a turntable) can be driven through at will and always with full control; stopping and changing direction are also permitted at any time. The purely electronic operation (without relays) of the ZIMO reversing loop modules enables the track section to be reversed in a matter of microseconds, which means that not only the module itself, but also the wheel sets of the passing vehicles are subject to less wear than usual.
