For the first time with a beige roof

The newly founded German Sleeping Car and Dining Car Company (DSG) took over most of the MITROPA sleeping cars that had survived World War II and use by the occupying forces. At the end of the 1950s, some cars were fitted with rubber bead transitions. Due to their solid construction, 26 cars were given a UIC-compliant car number in 1966.
