As part of the merger of the former Cisalpino (CIS) carriages to form the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), their fleet also became a little more colourful for a while. One of the trains that was particularly "colourful" over a long period of time is the Eurocity train pair 6/7. The train ran from Chur in Switzerland via Zurich HB and Basel SBB to Mannheim, Dortmund and then on to Hamburg.
