Originally built by Simmering-Graz-Pauker in Graz, the Steiermarkbahn brought two locomotives of the 1142 series from the railway company ESG back to their old homeland in Germany in 2018. After an overhaul with a new paint job, the multiple traction locomotives are back in service and are reliably performing their duties.
