The electric locomotive was delivered to the DR in March 1986 under the number 243 124. At the beginning of 1992 it was renamed 143 124. After being decommissioned by DB AG on May 1, 2011, it was in service at RBH. Since August 2019 it has been owned by FWK (Fahrzeugwerke Karsdorf GmbH) and received its modern, eye-catching design in 2021.
