Adria Transport was founded in 2005 as a joint venture between Graz-Köflacher Bahn und Busbetrieb GmbH (GKB) and the operating company of the port of Koper (Luka Koper). The fleet also includes two diesel-electric locomotives Siemens Eurorunner (Hercules), which, among other advantages, do not use the power supply available on the Koper–Prešnica–Divača route, so that more trains can run on the route. The 2016 921, which was put into operation in 2012, is named "Ingrid".
