Model turntable with electric drive and individually electrically switchable track exits, with turntable switch 6910. Length of the swing bridge 183 mm. Suitable for the H0 PROFI track and other H0 nickel silver track systems.
FLEISCHMANN developed an H0 model based on a 16 meter turntable. This turntable has the advantage that it takes up little space and therefore also fits on small systems. Nevertheless, locomotives with an axle distance of up to approx. 170 mm can be turned, although the length of the locomotives over buffers is sometimes considerably greater.
The turntable is made in a prototypical pit design and with a prototypical representation of all essential details. The basic equipment of the turntable has 6 access tracks and 4 blind sockets. The access tracks can be connected and moved at an angle of 15° and can be expanded to a total of 24 track connections using the 6155 turntable extension sets.
The "thinking" turntable: With the model turntable, the traction current is fed into the system via the swing bridge. The turntable "thinks" when you use the turntable switch to select the side of the swing bridge that should carry current. Then only the track that is connected to the selected side of the swing bridge receives power. With this "thinking" turntable, a locomotive can be parked on one track without power and at the same time a locomotive can run on the opposite track connected by the swing bridge.
