Pirata PI1205 - Electric locomotive E444.056 FS, Ep.V-VI, XMPR II
The E444R is the modernized variant of the famous E444 Taratuga, but it lost the elegant curves on the front sides. The modernization took place from 1989 to 1997. The locomotive crew received air conditioning and a modern, noise-insulated driver's cab. The Italian railways primarily use the E444R for passenger trains.
Pirata, in collaboration with Mehano, has also modernized the E444R model and so the new N gauge locomotive has a six-pin interface, white/red light changes and new delicate pantographs.
