PIKO 47122 - TT steam locomotive BR 83.10 DR III
Novelty 2022: With the PIKO BR 83.10 there is a model of this unusual locomotive type in the nominal size TT for the first time. In keeping with the special features of the prototype, the finely detailed PIKO model can present itself as an outstanding locomotive. The striking machine impresses with its successful implementation of the original proportions and comes with numerous specially attached parts. The fine spoked wheels, the filigree controls and the detailed cab interior including firebox lighting make the locomotive an eye-catcher on the layout. The driver's cab and chassis lighting provide further effects. The powerful motor, in combination with two built-in traction tires, creates sufficient pulling power to cover prototypical train combinations. For uncomplicated digitization, the model has a Next18 interface and is prepared for sound retrofitting. The BR 83.10 appears in the condition of the 1960s. With 2-domed boiler, sandboxes on the circulation, 2-light headlights, as a superheated steam engine
