Novelty 2022: Printed variant of the BR 55 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn in Epoch III. The PIKO model impresses with the finest paintwork and printing, successful mold construction and a harmonious implementation of the model machine. Many added details should be highlighted, such as the locomotive whistle, free-standing cables and piston protection tubes. The PIKO BR 55 has a digitally switchable light change that works depending on the direction of travel, a heavy die-cast zinc frame and a powerful motor for excellent driving characteristics. A close locomotive-tender distance is mandatory for PIKO models. Thanks to the integrated Next18 interface, retrofitting a digital decoder and sound is possible in just a few steps.
