PIKO 47540 - TT electric locomotive BR S499.1 CSD IV
Novelty 2022: The elegant “Laminátka” from PIKO appears in size TT for the first time. The grace of the machine was excellently transferred to the 1:120 scale and an absolutely harmonious overall picture was created. The many attractive details, such as the skylights in the engine room, were elegantly implemented and the strongly structured lines of the locomotive body were visualized with sharp engravings. Technical elements such as the bogies were precisely reproduced. The colorful paintwork of the prototype, including dynamic decorative elements, also suits the locomotive perfectly in the model. The “Laminátka” is powered by a powerful mid-engine with two flywheels, which acts on all four axles of the locomotive. The lighting in red and white, which changes with the direction of travel, is of course designed using contemporary LED technology. The locomotive has a Next18 interface for quick and easy retrofitting of a digital decoder.
