PIKO 40647 - N passenger car n-car 1st / 2nd class DB AG V

Novelty 2022: Printed version of the 1st/2nd class passenger car of the DB AG in mint green paintwork from Era V. A family of commuter cars from the German Federal Railroad is known among railway fans as Silberlinge. The vehicles owe their name “Silberlinge” to their stainless steel car body. Over 5,000 examples were built between 1961 and 1980 and were available at DB Regio until the beginning of 2020. The cars are also often referred to as n-cars after their secondary class symbol. With the n-cars, PIKO has added a vehicle type to its range that is practically not found on any Model railways whose theme is based on the Federal Railway or DB AG are missing. As with the prototype, the models also differ depending on the car class in window layout and interior design, the dimensions have been converted to size N in a prototypical manner. Mold construction at the highest level ensures the utmost Plastic-looking bogies and the high-quality paintwork and printing that PIKO is used to give the vehicles an excellent finish. The vehicles are prepared for the easy retrofitting of interior lighting.
