PIKO 40255 - N rail bus with control car DB III
Novelty 2022: Printed version of the DB rail bus from Era III. Like their DB models, the PIKO models of the railcar and control car embody functionally reliable designs. The railcar model is powered by a small engine that is equipped with two precisely sized flywheels to ensure perfect running properties. The drive acts on both axles of the railcar. Since the railcar and control car can be coupled to one another via a current-conducting short coupling kinematics, two additional (and therefore four) axles can be used for safe current collection when using control cars. The railcar has a PluX16 digital interface according to NEM 658. The lighting functions of both vehicles can be switched separately. A clear view is possible through the passenger compartments of railcars and control cars. The railcar can also be used as a prototypical locomotive to carry individual freight wagons.
