Novelty 2022: The PIKO model of the 1100 series from the Dutch State Railways NS in a scale of 1:160 impresses with its successful mold construction with harmonious roof curves and many attached parts, such as fine insulators and current collectors, free-standing handlebars and stairs. The model has the appropriate lamp shape, sharply engraved bogie covers with realistic replicas of the spring assemblies and true-to-original miniatures of the buffer beams. The front and tail lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, are made of LED technology. The PIKO motor ensures excellent driving characteristics and high pulling forces. The model has a tidy circuit board with a Next18 interface and is prepared for easy retrofitting of a decoder. The machine stands out from previous models with a housing without decorative strips or coats of arms. In addition, this locomotive has the L-light scheme installed for the first time.
