Thanks to the imitation brick and the 3-story central building with the two offset extensions, the station can be used in any era. Many train stations of this type are still in operation today. The smaller buildings house a goods shed with gates for transport companies to arrive, while the other buildings can be used to store railway equipment, for example. The train station hall is located in the middle building; the upper floors can be used as self-catering apartments. The partially aged “Burgstadt” train station feels really at home in a medium to small town.
