PIKO 50618 - BR 78 DR IV sound steam locomotive, including PIKO sound decoder and steam generator
New in 2023: The BR 78 from PIKO with a prototypical design and lettering of the DR in Era IV. Almost all cables were free-standing, the driver's cab, water tanks and smoke chamber are decorated with the finest replicas of the rivet heads. The five-pole PIKO motor with flywheel ensures excellent driving characteristics. Additional weights in the boiler and two traction tires ensure high pulling power. The sound variant comes with a PIKO sound decoder including speakers and an integrated smoke device ex works. The direction-dependent LED lighting ensures an authentic operating atmosphere.
