The Stadler multiple unit, which is popular in operational service thanks to its modular design, was a rail vehicle that was very popular with many model railroaders right from the start. PIKO responded to this customer request and developed both the GTW 2/6 and the GTW 2/8 as H0 models. PIKO attached great importance to the precise reproduction of the futuristic appearance, whereby the head shapes of the different train variants, which differed in their external shape, were consistently redesigned.
