This sudden development meant that the railway administrations of East and West reached their limits. In order to cover the resulting demand, the transport capacity of the few existing “small border traffic” connections between the GDR and the Federal Republic of Germany was increased with all available vehicles. This year's TOFT train set addresses such a situation and represents a year full of emotions, upheavals, hopes and colorful train sets.
The locomotive from this set is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound.
