PIKO 96393 - Electric locomotive EP08 PKP IV
Novelty 2024: Printed version of the EU07 as EP08 of the PKP in Era IV. The EU07 impresses as an expert model with many attached parts, such as signal horns, roof antennas, mounted free-standing handlebars and stairs as well as harmonious lamps. The model has delicate pantographs and faithful replicas of the buffer beams. The lighting is done using LEDs. The driver's cab lighting and the front and tail lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The heavy die-cast zinc frame and the motor with two large, precisely balanced flywheels ensure excellent driving characteristics and high pulling forces. The model has a tidy circuit board with a PluX22 interface and is prepared for easy retrofitting with a sound decoder and large speaker. A special feature is that it is possible to switch to overhead line operation.
