New 2022 With the H0 model of the Vectron electric locomotive, PIKO is fulfilling the wishes of PIKO fans who, both as system operators and as collectors, have chosen models based on the latest railway technology. With the Vectron, PIKO delivers a high-precision model that has numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and features proven PIKO standards. The tried and tested PIKO motor with two large flywheels ensures excellent running characteristics. The tractive force of the locomotive, which is driven on all four axles, is increased by two traction tires that sit diagonally to one another on the internal axles of both bogies. The headlights and taillights are illuminated via LEDs whose red or white changes with the direction of travel. The externally elegant appearance of this model includes an exactly reproduced technical “roof landscape” and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles. Printed variant of the BR 193 with LTE Neptunes printing in era VI. The model already has a suitable PluX22 sound decoder in the sound version at the factory.
