PIKO 59459 - Electric locomotive BR 101 DB AG V
New in 2023: Printed variant of the BR 101 of the DB AG in era V. The model's bogies, frame and the roof section with the side fan grilles were reproduced true to the original. Fine engravings, such as handrails, door handles, driver's cab equipment and the separately inserted windows with replica windshield wipers make the model particularly attractive. The drive is carried out by a powerful motor via cardan shafts to the gearboxes, which drive all four wheel sets. The model has lighting that changes in the direction of travel. For uncomplicated digitization, there is an interface according to NEM 652 on the tidy circuit board, and the model is also prepared for retrofitting with sound.
