Novelty 2023: Printed variant of the cult locomotive of the BR 118 in the version as the E 18 of the DB in Era III. The PIKO model impresses with its harmonious implementation of its model machine from the Federal Railway. What should be highlighted are the fine wheel sets, the exact replica of the prototypical roof equipment with delicate pantographs and the exact replica of the front sections. The driver's cab and engine room lighting as well as the front and tail lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The model, which has a die-cast zinc frame, has excellent driving characteristics and high tensile forces. Retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker is prepared on the tidy circuit board with PluX22 interface.
