PIKO 51749 - Electric locomotive BR 140 DB IV with wear buffer beam AC version

The prototype of the PIKO model of the BR 140 in the beige-blue version of the DB in Ep. IV with double lamps and wear buffer beams impresses with its successful head shape without annoying mold separating edges, free-standing handle bars and delicate current collectors. In addition, the digitally switchable driver's cab lighting is installed as standard. The five-pole motor ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheels and power consumption via eight wheels. In order to ensure high tractive power, the PIKO model has, in addition to the zinc die-cast frame, two traction tires that sit on the internal axles of both bogies in a diagonal arrangement to one another. The model has a PluX22 interface, white/red light change and short coupling kinematics. The PIKO BR 140 is prepared for retrofitting with a sound decoder.
