PIKO 51656 - Sound electric locomotive BR E 50 DB III AC version, including PIKO sound decoder
Novelty 2023: Printed variant of the BR E 50 of the DB in Era III. The design of the model follows the proven PIKO drive design. The solid five-pole, diagonally grooved PIKO motor with two precisely balanced flywheels ensures excellent running characteristics. The tractive force of the locomotive, which is powered by four axles, is increased by two traction tires that sit diagonally on the internal axles of both bogies. The headlights and taillights are illuminated via LEDs whose red or white changes with the direction of travel. The cab lighting and the taillight can be switched digitally. For this purpose, the locomotive has a PIKO sound decoder ex works.
