PIKO 51634 - Electric locomotive Rh 1044 ÖBB V
New in 2023: Variant of the Rh 1044 in the ÖBB version in era V. The characterful locomotive face of the former ÖBB parade horse was excellently captured in the model implementation, as was the distinctive side section of the vehicles, with the pronounced beads and the typical “portholes”. posed challenges to mold making. The resulting impression of ideal visual effect is continued in the bogies of the locomotive. Last but not least, the 1044 is technically impressive: a five-pole PIKO motor, on whose shaft there are two finely balanced flywheels, ensures consistent propulsion. The light change that is mandatory today was implemented using contemporary LED technology.
