PIKO 51491 - Electric locomotive 117 110 DB IV AC version
Novelty 2023: With the new design of the E 17 series, PIKO is consistently continuing the series of well-known old electric locomotives. The model reproduces the distinctive shapes of the original true to scale. In order to perfectly reproduce the operating condition in Era IV, all changes to the prototype that occurred during the modernization were also taken into account in the model. In addition to the front windows, these also affected the roof cable route and the porch design. Technically, the new PIKO model is in tune with the times and has silky-smooth driving characteristics, good pulling power and a built-in light change as standard. Like the lighting in the driver's cab and engine room, this is designed using the latest LED technology. The AC version of the locomotive is equipped with a suitable decoder ex works and is prepared for retrofitting with sound.
