PIKO 51486 - Sound electric locomotive E 94 DB III AC version, including PIKO sound decoder
Novelty 2024: Form variant of the BR E 94 of the German Federal Railways in Epoch III. The model takes into account the special details of its model and reproduces them exactly on a scale of 1:87. The harmonious lighting in the two driver's cabs and in the engine room can be controlled digitally and perfectly showcases the locomotive's interior. For this purpose, a PSD XP sound decoder is installed ex works, including the largest possible loudspeaker for excellent sound reproduction.
The model bears the “fits mfx®” quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital centers, a new quality mark “fits mfx®” was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx® test and have passed it completely.
These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the “fits mfx®” quality mark, which indicates unrestricted mfx ® Functionality certified. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx®” logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
