PIKO 51481 - Electric locomotive BR 254 DR IV
New in 2023: Form variant of the BR E 94 in the version as the BR 254 of the DR in Era IV. From 1970, the machines of the E 94 series were listed by the DR under the number 254. Over the next few years, some changes were made to the locomotives. They received new RBS 58 pantographs and the bogies were painted red. The PIKO model also reflects these and other special features true to the original.
Thanks to the PluX22 interface and generous installation space, the model is prepared for easy retrofitting with a decoder and sound including the largest possible loudspeaker.
The new one PIKO model of the BR 254 reflects the operating condition of the early 1980s. Striking special features are the free-standing lamp on the stem with a replica of the supply cable, adapted sockets and changes to the rain gutters. The positive overall impression is rounded off by the prototypical, clean paintwork and flawless printing.
