PIKO 51471 - Electric locomotive 194 576-5 DB IV AC version
Novelty 2022: Translating a striking model vehicle like the E 94 perfectly into size H0 is always a challenge. The PIKO designers have achieved this feat brilliantly. The result is a model that reproduces the overall appearance and characteristics of the E 94/BR 194 excellently in 1:87. Thanks to a dovetail guide between the engine stems and the bridge frame, the model sits firmly on the track and is very agile at the same time. The mid-engine with two flywheels ensures smooth running, and the tractive force is increased by two diagonally arranged traction tires. In conjunction with a digital decoder, many prototypical lighting functions can be switched, among which the approach lights below the driver's cab windows play a particularly important role. The AC version has a latest generation PSD decoder ex works and is prepared for retrofitting with sound.
