New in 2022: Variant of the BR S499 as the BR 340 of the ČD Cargo in Era VI. The grace of the elegant Škoda 47E “Laminátka” machines was excellently transferred to the 1:87 scale and an absolutely harmonious overall picture was created. The many attractive details, such as the skylights in the engine room, were elegantly implemented and the strongly structured lines of the locomotive body were visualized with sharp engravings. Technical elements, such as the bogies, were precisely recreated, which complete the successful design of the model. The colorful livery of the model, including dynamic decorative elements, also suits the locomotive in 1:87 thanks to the elaborate paintwork and printing. The locomotive is powered by a five-pole motor, whose smooth running is perfected by two flywheels. Red and white lighting that changes with the direction of travel is of course available and uses modern LED technology. The locomotive has a PluX22 interface for easy retrofitting of a digital decoder. Thanks to a generously sized speaker mount, a vehicle sound can also be easily installed. With the model of the BR 340 from ČD Cargo, a version appears for the first time that shows the current, modernized state of the series. Characteristic of this are the one-rail pantographs, the completely changed roof garden and the wide high-performance buffers.
