PIKO 51391 - Sound electric locomotive BR S 499.1 CSD IV AC version, including PIKO sound decoder
Novelty 2022: The grace of the elegant Škoda 47E “Laminátka” machines has been excellently transferred to the 1:87 scale and an absolutely harmonious overall picture has been created. The many attractive details, such as the skylights in the engine room, were elegantly implemented and the strongly structured lines of the locomotive body were visualized with sharp engravings. Technical elements, such as the bogies, were precisely recreated, which complete the successful design of the model. The colorful livery of the model, including dynamic decorative elements, also suits the locomotive in 1:87 thanks to the elaborate paintwork and printing. The locomotive is powered by a five-pole motor, whose smooth running is perfected by two flywheels. Red and white lighting that changes with the direction of travel is of course available and uses modern LED technology. The electric locomotive already has an mfx®-capable PluX22 sound decoder as a factory sound model.
