PIKO 51357 - Sound electric locomotive BR 181.2 Mosel DB IV AC version, including PIKO sound decoder
New in 2022: Variant of the BR 181.2 of the DB with Mosel printing from Era IV. The PIKO model of the important multi-system locomotive series 181.2 shows all the relevant details of its prototype and impresses with the finest paintwork and printing, raised nameplates on the sides, specially attached front handles and Door handle bars, sharply engraved bogie covers, fine insulators and current collectors with different contact pieces. The lighting is done using LEDs. The driver's cab and engine room lighting, which is installed as standard, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder, as can the taillights, which function depending on the direction of travel. A powerful five-pole motor with flywheels that drives all four axles ensures excellent driving characteristics. The heavy PIKO model has two traction tires and a heavy die-cast zinc frame for high tensile forces. The PIKO 181.2 is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker. The AC model is already equipped with a suitable mfx®-compatible PluX22 decoder ex works.
