PIKO 51352 - Electric locomotive BR 181.2 DB IV "Lorraine"
Novelty 2021: The PIKO model of the 181.2 "Lorraine" shows all the relevant details of its model and impresses with the finest paintwork and printing, raised nameplates on the sides, specially attached front handles and door handle bars, sharply engraved bogie covers, fine insulators and current collectors with different contact pads. The lighting is done using LEDs. The driver's cab and engine room lighting, which is installed as standard, can be controlled digitally, as can the taillights, which function depending on the direction of travel. A powerful five-pole motor with two precisely balanced flywheels that drives all four axles ensures excellent driving characteristics. The heavy PIKO model has two traction tires and a heavy die-cast zinc frame for high tensile forces.
