PIKO 51148 - Sound electric locomotive Rh 1018 ÖBB III AC version, including PIKO sound decoder
Novelty 2024: Form variant of the Rh 1018 of the ÖBB in Era III. The model appears as a variant without a tail light, with twelve sandboxes and a buffer beam in the original version. The fir green paintwork with reseda green decorative stripes characterizes the external appearance, which is rounded off by the engraved ÖBB impeller on the front below the front windows. The model is factory-equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker and has digitally switchable lighting in the engine room and the driver's cabs. The model bears the “fits mfx®” quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital centers, a new quality mark “fits mfx®” was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx® test and have passed it completely.
These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the “fits mfx®” quality mark, which indicates unrestricted mfx ® Functionality certified. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx®” logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
