The PIKO model of the locomotive 130 006-0 is the first, consistently prototypical H0 model of the DR series 130. Based exactly on the model, the PIKO 130 has the large front and side windows of the first delivery series . Just as typical were the separately attached handrail bars in front of the driver's cabs and the "tidy" roof. The 130 is shorter than the 132 series, but with its lowered front aprons it appears larger and more massive. A very special highlight is the prototypically illuminated side signage. Prototype-oriented model railway enthusiasts should also be impressed by the precisely reproduced, robust bogie detailing, which can withstand the rigors of everyday operation on the model railway. The engine with two flywheels, together with the heavy zinc die-cast frame, the elegant cardan shaft drive on four axles (two wheels covered with traction tires in a diagonal arrangement), gives the model excellent running properties and high tractive forces. As a model from the PIKO Expert line, the 130 006-0 has close coupling kinematics and a Plux16/22 digital interface. Retrofitting with sound is prepared.
