PIKO 52943 - Sound diesel locomotive BR 216 DB IV AC version, including PIKO sound decoder
New in 2023: Variant of the BR 216 of the DB with traffic red paintwork with a bib in Era IV. The V 160 and 216 series were the express train locomotives for routes without contact wires on the Bundesbahn in the 1960s and 1970s. The development team has implemented the distinctive shape of the model in the model with outstanding quality and at the same time achieved ideal driving characteristics. These attributes are underlined by the effective use of perfect engravings and a paint finish that is consistent down to the smallest detail. Contemporary LED technology serves as the basis for the light change in red/white as well as the light functions that can be switched by retrofitting a digital decoder. The PluX22 digital interface according to NEM 658 is state-of-the-art, and a suitable PIKO sound decoder with loudspeaker is integrated ex works. The buffer beam of the vehicle can be completed prototypically using the included accessories.
