PIKO 52570 - Diesel locomotive 118 131-2 DR IV GRP
The first special design, the V 180 059, was introduced in 1965 with a new design concept with a roof and front wall section made of glass fiber reinforced polyester and a glare-free windshield design with front windows that slope steeply forward. In addition to a long-term test on the usability of plastics, it was also about a more attractive appearance. In 1966, two more machines with glass fiber reinforced polyester pulpits followed. The model reproduces the 118 131-2 of the DR in Ep.IV.
