From 2017, a former DR shunting locomotive will adorn the roundabout known as the PIKO roundabout at the entrance to the company premises in an attractive color scheme. The PIKO model of the V23 "Kreisl-Lok" series is a universally usable locomotive that is suitable for shunting and route service and with its eye-catching special paintwork is a must-have in any collection. The PIKO model is characterized by excellent running properties at low speeds and can therefore be used on model railways, for example in front of special trains or on sidings. The powerful motor also has a precisely balanced flywheel. Since the frame, gearbox housing and motor stem are made of die-cast zinc, the compact model is powerful, robust and easy to grip without having to forgo any details. The model has short coupling kinematics and a digitally switchable white/red light change depending on the direction of travel. The model is prepared for retrofitting with a digital or PIKO sound decoder.
