PIKO 52321 - Diesel locomotive BR 211 DB IV AC version
New for 2023: Form follows function - designers and engineers internalized this principle when the V 100 was created in the late 1950s, but implementing a model makes this premise all the more demanding. The PIKO designers overcame this hurdle with flying colors and created a fascinating model. A special eye-catcher is the locomotive's cooling system with finely etched grilles and the fan wheel visible underneath. The three-dimensional engravings on the stems and driver's cab further structure the functional vehicle structure. The overall impression is rounded off by the delicate bogies with numerous attached parts. The digital versions have factory-switchable lighting in the driver's cab and instrument panel. For this purpose, the model in the AC version has an mfx-capable PIKO digital decoder.
